TUCAS

Harald completed both his bachelor and master degrees at TU Wien. His master thesis revolved around solid state electrochemistry where he focused on intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFCs) utilising proton conducting oxides. After joining TUCAS in May 2019 he mainly acts as the electrochemical anchor of the project. For electrochemical characterisation he prepares full electrochemical cells using thin film laser deposition obtaining strong defined geometries. Various side projects include in building microcontroller or ICP-MS/OES measurements at the department of analytics.

In his free time the most likely place to find Harald is in the gym or in the vineyard. When at home Harald enjoys software development or reading a good book.
