Markus is conducting the practical part of his final thesis for his current education, focusing on pressure swing adsorption with Sandro Wildinger. He is in his final year at the HTL for Chemistry in Kramsach. Markus chose this school not because it was the nearest or the easiest, but because he genuinely wanted to explore a broad spectrum of chemistry and was ready to do whatever it took to get there.

In his hometown of Salzburg, he enjoys going for walks in the beautiful city and sitting by the river Salzach. When time allows, he volunteers for the Austrian Water Rescue Service in Salzburg or plays drums in the newly formed school band.
