After five years well spent attending the secondary technical college of Leoben majoring in Metallurgy and his mandatory military services, Max followed the call of science, and started his studies at the Montanuniversität Leoben with his major, you guessed it, being Metallurgy. Despite his rather unusual background—not being a chemist—Max still decided to join the group for his Bachelor thesis. Together with Tobias, he will set up the almighty Flame Spray Pyrolysis (FSP, also known as Aang). Furthermore, he will conduct Reversed Steam Reforming with the synthesized perovskites from the FSP.

In his free time, Max likes to read a lot, play video games and spend time with his friends.
