Reduction Ranger
Niklas graduated from HTL Hollabrunn in mechanical engineering, specializing in environmental and process engineering, and his final thesis focused on laboratory-scale wire measurement technology. He then served in the army for a year, spending 6 months on a border patrol mission after his basic military service. Through his school experience in the field of energy and process engineering, he became enthusiastic about energy infrastructure and provision, which is why he moved his center of life from Korneuburg to Leoben in 2022 and is currently completing his bachelor’s degree at the Montanuniversität Leoben in the field of energy engineering.
He started as a student assistant at the Chair of Physical Chemistry in January 2025 and supports Florian Schrenk in his research on methane dry reforming catalysis with perovskites.
He enjoys spending his free time with his friends at cozy game nights, baking activities and, of course, with his Entlebucher Sennenhund named Bob.
